Reporting a perv...
Don't know what to do with this, but something needs to be done. He was spamming this in more than 1 location. Hopefully someone can redirect this picture or a mod can send it somewhere. I'm sick of seeing these people ruining the game with this immature, pathetic crap.
----------
I'm not going to blank out his name, he dosen't deserve the privacy. (Well tough, it's still against the rules.) He deserves to be shunned and banned.

There is something you should know.
This happens practically everyday.
It's not that big of a deal.
Report someone who scams you or steals 15k from you.

That's not nearly half as bad as others. Also, it is against board rules to post other people's ingame name with out permission whether they deserve it or not.

First of all it didn't offend me. Second of all, I'm sick and tired of hearing this crap all day from 15 year old boys to other 15 year old boys. Maybe you little punks like hearing this stuff all day, but it tends to get old time after time.

Uhh, ok. Don't bother replying to anything I ever post again, please.
I guess I'm posting this in the wrong forum, or maybe I'm playing the wrong game. This one looks to be full of immature nerds.

if some lonely person wants to cyber, let him.
not that I do it myself or approve of it.. read this: http://www.adamchance.com/funny.htm
next time you see someone trying to cyber say you're [19/F/CA WHATVURR] and then lead into the blood ninja stuff, they freak out. I had one guy be all 'omg i was just hard a minute ago please can we just cyber' and I couldn't stop laughing.
It's sad, kinda.
And if the person is saying that openly in local chat, they shouldn't have their name blacked out because they are putting themselves out there already... but board rules, please edit the pic!

You need to understand that 80% of the MMORPGs out there are full of immature nerds. Especially sexually driven ones. Just look at it this way. This game has no monthly fee, which requires no credit card, which means little kids starting their hormonal experience will be in large quantities. The best you can do is ignore it. Atleast he's not chasing you around as a Warrior and doing /dance.

True, but still it gets on the nerves. I found my quick solution. If I'm in RA or farming/soloing something, I'll just turn all chat except guild chat and whispers off. I guess thats my only peace.

I do happen to think the current T rating is inappropriate to content from the community...
Quote:
MATURE
Titles rated M (Mature) have content that may be suitable for persons ages 17 and older. Titles in this category may contain intense violence, blood and gore, sexual content, and/or strong language.
|
is more accurate. Especially with the Racism and Sexual innuendo in the game that is a constant nuisance. I for one would not let anyone under the age of 17 play this game in good conscience. The people playing it have perverted it. sure a competent player can turn the chat interface off for their kids. And prob should... It never seems to be enough to block certain words. People always find a way around a filter... That's why on kids installations I recommend turning off the chat interface in the custimization is a good idea... Unfortunately this means Little to no player interaction for them... everything is henchmen...

If you take a quick look in options you will discover a Chat Filter setting. I understand most people will turn this off, but if children are regularly playing then trun it on to a higher level. Granted there are ways of fooling the filter but because it can be toggled manually people don't really bother to find new ways of beating it on Guild Wars.
I think this is what you were talking about when you said:

And if people find this is not enough consider that "Maturity" has little to do with age, if you don't want your child exposed to the content on GW then get them a different game which doesn't require them to co-operate with different people of different ages.

If it needs to be reported, send the pic and the explanation of why it's against the rules to support.plaync.com (or support.guildwars.com, I forget if they're still the same site).
As I see this thread leading into places not fit for the SS expo, I'm going to close this.
